Step-by-Step Method

6-step method
01

Stir sauce

In a small bowl, stir brown sugar, vinegar, garlic powder, and seasoning sauce until smooth. You can wait 1 minute for the sugar to melt.

02

Prepare chicken

Dry the chicken breasts with paper towels. If you want, cut it into thin strips to cook faster.

03

Cook chicken

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the chicken in the pan and cook, turning on each side, until lightly browned.

04

Season with Teriyaki sauce

Pour the sauce you prepared into the pan. Reduce heat to medium; Cook, turning occasionally, for 8–12 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the chicken is fully cooked.

05

Prepare pineapple cashew rice

In a separate bowl, mix cooked rice, drained crushed pineapple and cashew pieces. If you wish, you can turn the cashews in the pan for 1-2 minutes to gain aroma.

06

Serve

Divide the pineapple and cashew rice among the plates. Place the teriyaki chicken on top and drizzle with the remaining sauce in the pan. If you want, complement it with spring onions or sesame seeds.
