7-step method
01

Prepare vegetables

Chop carrots, onion, celery, tomatoes and potatoes. If you are going to grate the tomato, peel it off if you want.

02

Extract aroma

Heat the olive oil and butter in the pot. Fry the onion for 3-4 minutes until it softens, then add the carrots and celery and fry for another 4-5 minutes.

03

Roast tomato paste and spices

Add tomato paste and paprika. Stir for 1 minute until the smell of the tomato paste disappears; Be careful not to burn the bottom of the pot.

04

Add sausage and tomatoes

Put the spicy sausage cut into rings into the pot and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add the tomato and hot pepper and cook together for 2 minutes.

05

Boil with beans and potatoes

Add boiled red beans and potatoes. Add enough water (or broth) to cover it by 2-3 fingers, and when it boils, turn it to low heat.

06

Cooking and cooking consistency adjustment

Cook with the lid half open for 35-40 minutes. When the potatoes are soft, taste them; If the consistency is thick, add some more hot water.

07

Let rest and serve

Remove from the stove, let rest for 5 minutes. Serve with parsley if desired; It goes well with bread.
