Step-by-Step Method

6-step method
01

Preparation of the Sherbet

Mix granulated sugar and water in a bowl. Continue stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Optionally, you can boil it for 5 minutes and let it cool.

02

Preparation of the Dough

Add oil, yoghurt and egg into the mixing bowl and whisk. Then add orange zest, vanilla, baking powder, semolina and flour to obtain a slightly sticky dough.

03

Shaping and Arranging on the Tray

Take small pieces from the dough and roll them. Coat the dough in semolina and place it on the tray. Make scratches on them with the back of the knife.

04

Baking in the Oven

Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for about 25 minutes.

05

Making the Sherbet

Take the hot desserts out of the oven into a bowl. Pour cold sherbet over it and let the desserts rest to absorb the sherbet.

06

Serving

Serve the dessert by placing walnuts on top of the dessert that has completely absorbed its syrup.
