Mini Pizza Recipe (Tray-Baked, Yeasted Dough)
This mini pizza recipe starts with a soft yeasted dough, then you brush on a quick tomato paste sauce and top with olives, tomatoes, peppers, sausage, and shredded cheese. If you’re wondering how to make mini pizza, the ingredients and steps are right here—shape, top, and bake at 200°C.
Ingredients
1. For the dough
2. For the topping
3. For the sauce (tomato paste mix)
Step-by-Step Method
Mix and knead the dough
In a large bowl, combine yeast, sugar, and salt. Pour in the warm water and stir; add the egg whites and vegetable oil. Add flour gradually and knead until you have a soft dough that’s slightly tacky.
Let it rise
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm spot until noticeably puffy.
Prep the toppings
Meanwhile, slice the tomatoes and peppers thinly, chop the olives, and slice the sausage. Grate the cheese so it’s ready to sprinkle.
Shape and arrange
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Lightly oil your hands, pinch off pieces of dough, roll into balls, and place on the tray with space between. Dip the bottom of a tea glass in oil and press each ball to create a round, shallow well.
Brush on the sauce
Mix tomato paste with a little oil and oregano. Brush or spoon a thin layer over each mini base.
Add the toppings
Top each one with tomatoes, peppers, olives, and sausage. Finish with a generous sprinkle of grated cheese.
Bake
Bake in a preheated 200°C oven until the dough is lightly browned and the cheese has melted. Rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.
