Step-by-Step Method
Prepare the oven
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cover the tray with wax paper so that the cookies can be separated easily.
Whisk the wet mixture
Beat the eggs and granulated sugar in a bowl for 1–2 minutes. Add the orange zest and mix briefly.
Add the oils
Add margarine and butter at room temperature. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
Dough with the flours Gather
Add the flour little by little. Start with a spatula and then gather it together with your hand; Aim for a dough that is soft but not too sticky. If necessary, let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Roll out the dough and cut circles
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of 3–4 mm. Cut out circles with the glass.
Add the filling
Place 1 teaspoon of prune filling in the center of each circle. If you add too much, it may leak out while cooking.
Shape into three corners
Fold the three edges of the circle towards the middle to create a triangle form. Press the corners firmly with your fingertips; so it won't open in the oven.
Bake for a short time
Place the cookies on the tray and bake for 8 minutes. When the edges start to take on a light color, remove it; Let it rest on the tray for 5 minutes, then remove it to the rack.
