Ingredients

1 package (about 3 oz / 85 g) raspberry flavored gelatin powder
3 packages (about 3 oz / 85 g each) grape flavored gelatin powder
3 packets (about 7 g each) unflavored gelatin
Boiling water

12–15 worm-shaped silicone molds or narrow candy molds (depending on size)

Step-by-Step Method

7-step method
01

Prep the molds

Set out clean, dry worm molds. If you’re using a firm plastic mold, lightly rinse and shake off excess water so the gummies release more easily.

02

Combine the powders

Add raspberry gelatin, grape gelatin, and unflavored gelatin to a mixing bowl. Stir briefly while dry to help prevent clumps.

03

Dissolve with boiling water

Pour in the boiling water and stir for 1–2 minutes until the mixture is fully dissolved and smooth.

04

Stir in cold water

Add 1 cup cold water and mix well. Let it sit for a couple minutes if it’s steaming hot; it’s easier to pour neatly when it cools slightly.

05

Fill the molds

Pour into the molds using a small pitcher, squeeze bottle, or funnel. If foam forms on top, skim it off with a spoon.

06

Chill until set

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the gummies feel firm and springy to the touch.

07

Unmold and serve

Gently pop the gummy worms out. If they stick, warm the outside of the mold under lukewarm water for 10–15 seconds and try again.
