Greek Style Turkey Burger Recipe (With Feta and Cucumber)
Greek inspired turkey burger recipe: turkey meatballs kneaded with spices are cooked in a pan in a short time, served with yoghurt sauce, cucumber and feta. In this practical recipe, the ingredients are clear and the how-to steps are short and easy.
Ingredients
1. Meatball mixture
2. Sauce and service
Step-by-Step Method
Prepare the meatball mixture
Knead the ground turkey with dry parsley, garlic, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and pepper in a bowl until it comes together. Divide the mortar into 4 equal parts.
Shape the burger meatballs
Form each piece into a burger patty by pressing it in your palm. Do not tighten too much; This way it stays juicier when cooked.
Heat the pan
Heat the non-stick pan over medium heat. If necessary, wipe the pan with a little oil to create a thin layer.
Cook the meatballs
Add the meatballs to the pan and cook for about 4–5 minutes on each side. Turn until the center is cooked through; Be careful not to burn it while frying the outside.
Mix the sauce
Whisk the fat-free sour cream in a bowl. If you want it more fluid, add 1/4 cup of water and mix.
Serve
Place the cooked turkey burgers on a plate. Add cucumber slices and crumbled feta on top and drizzle with sauce. Serve while hot.
