Step-by-Step Method
Prepare the Dough
Place the egg, yoghurt, oil, water, vinegar, butter and salt in a deep bowl. Obtain a homogeneous mixture by mixing. Add flour gradually and knead a soft dough and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Prepare the Pudding
Take the milk in a pot, add granulated sugar and heat it. Dilute the starch and flour with a small amount of milk and add them to the mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until it thickens. Remove from the stove, add vanilla and egg yolk and let it cool.
Prepare the Sherbet
Put granulated sugar and water in a pot and boil. When the sugar melts and thickens, add lemon juice and let the sherbet cool.
Roll out the Dough and Prepare Layers
Roll out the dough pieces thinly and grease each layer with butter. Prepare 17 layers by stacking them on top of each other. Pour the pudding you prepared on top, cover the last layer and grease it.
Cook and Make Syrup
Bake the pastry in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 30 minutes until it is golden brown. Slice the pastry after it comes out of the oven and pour the syrup over it.
