Step-by-Step Method
Prepare oven and tray
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Pour the melted butter onto the baking tray or into my baking tray; Let it cover the base like a thin film.
Make coating mixture
In a large plate, combine the flour, seasoned salt and garlic powder. Mix briefly with a fork to avoid lumps.
Even chicken
If the chicken breasts are too thick, beat them lightly between plastic wrap to make them similar in thickness. So it cooks in the same time.
Cover with flour
Press each piece of chicken into the flour mixture, covering every part. Gently shake off excess flour; keep the coating thin and balanced.
Place on tray
Arrange the chicken in a single layer on the buttered tray. Be careful not to overlap the pieces so that the crispiness is not compromised.
Cook and turn
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Then turn the chicken with a spatula and cook for another 15 minutes. Take it out when the outside is golden brown and the inside is fully cooked.
Let rest and serve
Let it rest for 3–5 minutes before removing it from the tray. If you want, serve it with a green salad or baked potatoes.
