Ingredients
1. Ingredients
2. 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Step-by-Step Method
Put the ingredients in the pot
Add brewed coffee, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, garlic, molasses/molasses, mustard powder, Worcestershire sauce, cumin and chili powder to a medium-sized pot.
Melt the sugar and bring it to boiling
Over medium heat, stir constantly until the sugar dissolves completely. When bubbles appear slightly around the edges, reduce the heat.
Let it thicken over low heat
Cook the sauce on low heat for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Be sure to stir more frequently, especially in the last minutes, to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
Check the consistency and let it rest
When it reaches a consistency that will coat the back of the spoon, remove it from the stove. Rest for 10 minutes; It becomes slightly darker as it cools.
Use or store
Apply it as a sauce to meat, chicken or vegetables. Put the rest in a clean jar and store it in the refrigerator; mix before use.
