Buttermilk Pie Recipe (Buttermilk Tart)
Buttermilk Pie recipe is a classic pie type with vanilla and egg filling, prepared with buttermilk (fermented milk with buttermilk consistency). In this recipe, you quickly mix the ingredients and pour them into the mold; It cooks in the oven all at once. I added room temperature tips for smooth consistency in the how-to section.

Step-by-Step Method
Prepare the oven
Preheat the oven to 175°C. If you are going to use a ready-made pie base, place it in the mold and smooth the edges.
Make the dry mixture
Mix sugar, flour and salt in a bowl. All you need to do is whisk for 10-15 seconds so that the flour does not remain lumpy.
Add the egg and oil
Add the eggs and beat until smooth. Add the warm melted butter thinly and let the mixture become homogeneous.
Mix the aroma and milk
Add vanilla. Finally, pour in the buttermilk and mix at low speed; Don't beat too much, just let it combine.
Place in the mold
The mortar will be fluid, this is normal. Gently pour the mixture into the pie base (or greased tart mould).
Bake
Bake for about 60 minutes. When the top is lightly browned and the middle part is slightly jiggly but not liquid, remove it from the oven.
Rest and slice
Let it rest at room temperature for at least 1 hour so that the inside can come together. Then slice and serve.
