Ingredients
1. For marinating
2. For serving
Step-by-Step Method
Prepare the shrimp
Clean the shrimps thoroughly, drain excess water. If you are going to use skewers, soak the wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes.
Make a short marinade
In a bowl, mix garlic, grated ginger, chopped coriander, olive oil, salt and pepper. Add the shrimps and mix to cover all sides. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes; If you keep it longer the ginger may dominate.
Heat the grill
Heat the barbecue/grill to high heat and lightly oil the grill racks. This step reduces the stickiness of the shrimp.
Cook the shrimps
Arrange the shrimp on the grill in a single layer (either on a skewer or directly). Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side. Remove it when it turns pink in color and curls slightly; Do not overcook so that it does not harden.
Serve
Place the shrimps on a hot serving plate. You can sprinkle the remaining coriander on top and serve with lemon slices.
