Baked Salmon with Herb Sauce Recipe
Baked salmon recipe: The fillets cook quickly in the oven, then you finish them with a simple herb sauce made from mayonnaise, butter, parsley, dill, green onion, and a squeeze of lemon. The ingredients are straightforward and the steps are clear—great for an easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
1. For the herb sauce
2. For the salmon
Step-by-Step Method
Preheat the oven
Set the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment for easy cleanup.
Mix the herb sauce
In a small bowl, stir butter and mayonnaise until smooth. Fold in parsley, dill, and green onion.
Arrange the salmon
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared pan. If they’re wet, pat them lightly dry so the sauce clings better.
Spread on the sauce
Spoon the herb mixture over the tops of the fillets and spread it out evenly.
Bake
Bake for 12 minutes. If your fillets are thick, add 1–2 minutes; they’re done when the center turns opaque.
Serve with lemon
Rest for 2 minutes, then serve with a lemon wedge. Squeeze the lemon over the top right before eating.
